Mail Goodies

Yesterday was a great mail day for me. First my vintage apron from Confessions of an Apron Queen arrived. It's a half apron with a pocket trimmed in red. Last week I ordered three patterns from By Annie and they arrived too. Finally, Simply Libby and I had placed a bet on the Celtics/Lakers series and the Celtics won. Libby sent me a box of California goodies: Chocolate San Diego Pebbles, Strawberry Candy Sticks, a Bareroots pattern complete with everything to make the project, a chicken pincushion she made, and a Mickey Mouse coffee mug with Disney coffee. The coffee was delicious this morning. I'm still nibbling on the chocolates. Thank you, Libby for being a good sport.
Kim and I have bet on the Red Sox/Yankees season. Right now the Red Sox are leading the series 2-1. You better pay attention Kim - they play each other over the July 4th. The Sox are looking good. The Yankees are so-so.

Last night I finished my third Hatched and Patched block. I am really enjoying these small blocks. I think I'm going to make the quilt that is in the book with them later this Summer.
I actually spent time sewing in my studio today. I managed to cross off a couple items on my pre-vacation to do list. Hooray!

Isn't it fun to get such great mail. Good luck on your Red Sox, Yankee bet. My husband isn't enjoying the game too much right now, they are behind.

Oh gosh, how exciting. I love getting goodies in the post, really brightens up the day. The stitcheries are all cute aren't they? I'm hoping to make the quilt later on as well.

What a nice bunch of things to get in the mail. Your stitcheries look so cute! I can't seem to get into baseball until the playoffs start. Football is my favorite game to watch and keep up with all season. Have a great day...TTFN

I'm glad to hear that the coffee is tasty. I was hoping that it was - I like to drink the coffee they serve and was hoping what they sell is the same *s*

your stitchery is very nice...goodies look great...and I am from Nashua NH so Boston is less than 25 mi. away...so I did want the celtics to win. I just am a New Englander that grew up with my brothers rooting for the Boston teams...

Kim will be paying very close attention as she's going to the game
July 4th :)
First I need to get through the Subway Series this weekend starting 2PM tomorrow :)

Your stitcheries are all so pretty! You need to win a California bet in the winter, so you can earn some See's Candies. They are the best! They'd probably be melted mush in the heat, though.
