What Would You Do?

After dealing with a minor back ache all day, I decided to leave work 30 minutes early and go to the new Target for some shopping. My plan was to shop, come home and do nothing . . . but . . .

The new Rachel Ray magazine was on the rack so I had to buy it. The latest issue of Fons & Porter was in my mailbox as was my WOW butterfly fabric for my birthday quilt.

So what would you do, after eating dinner, of course: read Rachel, read Fons & Porter or stand and start cutting my WOW fabric? Oh yeah, I also need to write a note to a friend.

I'm waiting for your answers. I'll tell you mine tomorrow.

I would write the note and cut the fabric ... surely enough time will be left to look at the magazines *s*

I'd read Rachel in the morning or before I cook dinner, to get me more in the mood.

I'd just flip through the Fons and Porter, but not do indepth reading. Just get the creative juices flowing.

Then I'd start cutting the WOW.

Of course you could ignore everything and whine (kidding!) to your friend how you have too many goodies. ;)

I would also write the note first, cut the fabric...and read the magazines before I went to sleep. Can't wait to see what you do.

Since I've had a major backache this week (Just got home from the chiropractor), I'd sit down with my heating pad and read the magazines while I had a cup of tea. Since I'm a "washer" I'd have the fabric in the wash...so I couldn't cut until tomorrow! :o)

I would go to bed with a heating pad on my back. NO NO I would use one of those new heating pads, write the note, cut some fabric, eat dinner, and read the magazines, shower and finish the magazines in bed.

Hummm - I would take Tylinol and write the note while the T. starts working. THEN cut the fabric - pain free! Try putting 1 foot up on a little step stool when you stand to cut - it really will help your back! Then, read magazines in bed later (or read blogs!).

Cheers!

If I should decide I had made a cup of tea and settled down in my chair with a warm quilt wrapped around me and red the magazines.

I'd make myself a cup of tea, settle down on the sofa, write the note and then read the Fons and Porter magazine. Perhaps my new F&P will arrive today .....

So what did you end up doing?
