Weekend Wonders - Looking for Sleep

Have I mentioned that not only am I turning 50 this year, but I'm also going through the 'change'? You know what I'm talking about.

Here's me weekend wonder for this week: how do you get a good night's sleep with night sweats? Most nights I don't mind waking up a few times during the night only to throw off the covers and wait until I cool down to get back to sleep. However, I would love to have at least one full solid night' sleep at least once a week.

Do you have any tips or tricks to share?

A somewhat sleepy Sweet P

I DO, I DO!!!

I had all of those symtoms until I started taking "Change-O-Life" herbs. Now I sleep a solid 7-8 hrs a night and actually get cold every once and a while. LOL! There's more but it may be a little too much information. LOL

Melatonion is another great natural chemical to take...it helps you sleep...our bodies produce it..and as we age ....our bodies produce less of it....great thing is....I get mine from puritans pride online...they have great sales...I have used it since I started not being able to sleep (meaniepause)...and I have heard that Valerin Root helps with night sweats...

Oh, no! I have trouble sleeping through the night and I'm not even there yet. That is one part of getting older I'm NOT looking forward too. Good luck to you!!

I'm having the same trouble with night sweats and daytime hot flushes.

I have previously been on a wheat free diet and taken red clover and evening primrose oil which helped so I've gone back on that regieme this weekend as I'm fed up with the night sweats.

I don't what proof there is about stress and the menopause but everything has started up again since my husband was diagnosed with the eye cancer.
