Have You Signed Up Yet?

Cynthia is hosting a siggie swap. Have you signed up yet? I did. How fun to have a blogger siggie swap. Come on and join us! You can fit in some time to make the blocks and send them, can't you?

The siggie swap blocks are part of my goals for February. I'm calling February my "Month To Quilt For Others." I have gifts to make for retreat attendees. I'm making bindings for HeartStrings Quilt Project. I'm not a fan of making string blocks, but I want to contribute so I'm making bindings for the quilts.

February starts a new quarter of No Buy for Stashbusters. I have my eyes on three fabric collections: Heirloom Lilacs, Dick and Jane, and the 2007 Hoffman Challenge fabric. I'm hoping I can last until May to buy the fabric. Of course, there's always the gift cheques in my drawer that have been there for a few months already. Plus if I buy now, what will I buy on my Shop Hop in May?

What are your goals for February?

I hope a lot of bloggers will join us in this swap. I had no idea it would end up with a swap when I showed my quilt some weeks ago. But it is fun!!!!!

there has been a great response to the swap and i can't wait to see all the blocks everyone is making.

I was talking at the dinner table tonight with DH and our two DDs about the swap and i suddenly realised there will be 1600 blocks to sort out. I can't believe it!!

I'm going to enjoy the swap vicariously through all of you. I'm not good at follow-through.
Watching the "Big Game" today?

Hi Sweet P

Last week blogger didn't let me comment.

I like your Tulip quilt. I keep a few journals also. However, blogging has taken the place of part of my journaling.

My excel spread sheet does much as the jounal that you shared. I log quilting projects by name from point of idea conception. Then keep track of of each stage from matterial collection through completiton. At the moment the workbook is 10 pages long.

I didn't sign up for the siggie swap but not because I didn't want to! Just too many projects going right now and it would be prudent to finish a few......:>) I know all of you will enjoy it however. My February goals include finishing the batik quilt and to get my Bee quilt finished!
