No-Hitter For Lester/Boston Red Sox

How cool is this? Jon Lester threw a no-hitter for the Boston Red Sox! For those of you who know very little or nothing about baseball a no-hitter means a pitcher did not allow any hits throughout an entire game. This is the fourth no-hitter by a Red Sox pitcher in this century. The first one by a Red Sox left-handed pitcher in over 50 years! Way to go Jon!

It was phenomenal!! I was watching the entire game and was so excited for Jon! We are still watching the post game show. It was a great night, I was in my studio quilting and watching the Red Sox, can't get much better than that!!

What a great moment! I'm really happy for Lester and also glad Boston wasn't playing the Tigers. *s*

I probably know even less about baseball than you do about rugby but it's always great when someone from your team do well - congrats to him!
