Once I had my morning coffee I headed into my studio where I spent nearly 9 hours playing. I worked on my BQL May Bag. I sewed the zipper in all wrong and have to rip it all out. I’m saving that to do when I can sit with DH and watch baseball on Saturday.
Tonight I started working on a No Mail Round Robin. The center block is a stitchery I made a few weeks ago when I was looking for something easy to do. My original plan was to make a series of these stitcheries for my kitchen, but I saw a friend of mine working on this No Mail Round Robin and thought the quilt would be fun to use some of the coffee and dessert fabrics I have been collecting. Here is the completed first border.

Tomorrow night is date night with DH. We are going out for dinner and then we are going to see the new Indiana Jones movie. The rest of the weekend is for rest and relaxation.
I hope you have great plans for the weekend.

Your round robin project is great - the "treats" fabric is delicious (pun intended) - what line is it from? That would also be a great fabric to make some hotpads/decorated tea towels from ... as general gifties to have on hand for those unexpected occasions. I can't wait to see your project completed!
Enjoy the movie tomorrow night - I want to see it this weekend too - Harrison Ford definitely = dessert ;) I just got National Treasure 2, so it's going to be a movie weekend!
Sandra, who can't do a zipper to save her life, and who really should practice ... :)
A No Mail Round Robin . . . that sounds like fun. I haven't ever tried a mailing one, but this sounds like a good way to try out coming up with ideas *s*
Enjoy date night - it's fun to see a good movie with your sweetie!
