A Clean Studio!

I did it! With coffee cup in hand, I was in my studio at 8 am this morning. The mission: to clean it up. Five hours later it was done. I cleaned off every surface, sorted through every miscellaneous bag laying around and touched every piece of fabric. I've looked through all my projects and made a mental list of what I want to work on next (after I make the clothes for DIL and PJ pants for DH).

Recently I bought a bunch of the 3M wall hooks. My goal was to use them to be able to hang my growing collection of bags and scarves on the wall in my studio. Not bad for a start. I need to buy more hooks though. What do you think?
I didn't get any sewing done today. Maybe tomorrow. But my studio is ready for sewing and I can't wait to get started on sewing clothes.

Sweet P

I cleaned mine yesterday too...I love to make a mess in a clean studio...LOL

I envy those that can make clothes. I can follow a pattern, but really struggle with the finer points of clothes sewing...

I'm not doing any more sewing until I have a good tidy-up - yours looks really inviting - love your bags - sew to your hearts content, now!
Hugs - Lurline!

I work so much better in a neat and organized studio too! Don't you feel much better now that it is clean? Great idea with the hooks and what a bag collection.

OMG!! you have even vacuumed! There is not one thread on the floor. It looks like a showroom to sell horn cabinets rather than a sewing room!! LOL!!!

Good on you. This will make you feel good about making the clothes.

P.S. I have made a soft book with fabric pages from the Dick and Jane fabrics too...

Please come and do mine for me. I need to do it but I just haven't been able to get the time. It's the first job on my New Year clean list.

Love and hugs Gina xxx

Nice Studio! Great idea to hang your bags. Mine are all hanging on the old ironing board.

Inspired by you, I spent time cleaning and tidying my sewing area yesterday. I touched all my fabrics, looked through project ideas, and dreamed creative thoughts. It was a good morning.

Now, I'm itching to get started on something new.

I like the hooks!
