Giveaway Update and Inspiration Project

My UFO has found a new home. Tomorrow it will wing its way to Virginia. Thanks to those who offered to take it.

Kay asked if I would share the pattern for my Inspiration Project. I'd be happy to share it, but I need to write the directions. If you're interested in getting the instructions, let me know.

Not much quilty activity so far this week. I did spend 15 minutes cutting more HSTs for my Depression, but that's it.

It's been waaaaaay cold here today. The windchills have been way below 0. The winds have been strong all day and will stay strong through tonight. They say it is the coldest day of the year and I believe it.

Gosh, I'd be happy to share some warm with you -- today's high 73. I'm not ready for it to heat up this much just yet.

I'm sure having your studio ripped up is the major cause of your unsettled quilting. I know it would certainly throw a wrench in my equilibrium! I love how your depression quilt is turning out!

Your quilt is turning out very nice, keep the up good work. When I'm working full time I try and squeese in 15 minutes each day. You'd be surprized how much you will accomplish.

I really like your 'Football Depression' quilt! Glad to hear that your back pain has subsided. :D

I can see how you wouldn't be motivated to quilt when your studio is ripped up, and the weather is so dreary. But as your banner says, 14 days until spring! I admire your persistence in continuing to do what you are doing.

Sweet P---- I wish I could share some of our high 60 low 70 warmth that we have been having this week. Close your eyes, emagin azure blue sky with drifting heards of fluffy little sheep clouds crossing across.
Well I wanted to let you know that I have been reading your blog but unable to comment. DH fixed it for me.

We are having one day of sun and warmth and then 3 days of rain and cold. Wish the weather would lake its mind up. Like Patti, I'm sure the lack of a studio is causing the lack of concentration. Would you like to concentrate on doing me some red and white blocks?

The Depression quilt is looking so pretty, Paula!

Good for you too finding a new home for a project that you know you do not wish to complete. One person's unwanted UFO is another's treasure, right?
