I'm Off For the Weekend

I'm off tomorrow for our Quilt Pocket Jamboree in Southbury, CT. Four days with 17 quilters, including two from Australia. I'm lucky that I can drive there in my car Caliber instead of flying. A lot less hassle for me. DH is off to Dubai tomorrow so our house will be nice and quiet.

I'll be back on Monday with lots of tales and lots of pictures, I'm sure.

Have a great weekend and I hope you find plenty of time for quilting and playing.

I thought I remembered seeing another blogger somewhere with a Dodge Caliber...I got one in the same red as your's last night as a birthday present from my hubby!! He's such a sweetie!! How do you like the Caliber?? I love mine so far :)

Ohhh - it does sound like such a fun trip - being busy will help you miss your husband less.

Cheers!

Hi Sweetpea!

I enjoyed taking care of all you girls! It was fun having you at the resort for your retreat. Tell all the rest of the group I said ,"Hi!" too. And by the way, thank you for the quilted wallet with the gift inside. I will cherish it, and hope to hear back from you and any of the others who would like to keep in contact. My email is on my hubbys webpage. Also feel free to check out his newsletter and recipes if you'd like. We have another quilting group coming into the resort next week. They are based in Brooklyn, NY. It's fun looking at the things everyone has made. I'm sorry I didn't get to see the other stuff that you and the girls made. However, I thought the dolls you brought to lunch were adorable. Take care and I will chat with you soon!
