Here are the final entries for the Container Contest:
- Carolyn at Lakeside Quilting has an eclectic mix of storage container, including a Milky Way tin (I bet the chocolates were yummy!) She even shared a photo of her son touching the Green Monster at Fenway Park. I'm jealous!
- Jeanne at Luv 2 Stitch has many cute containers. I especially like her Baltimore Album tin.
- Lori at Dakota City Quilter admits to having a basket fetish and showed six of her baskets in her sewing room.
- Kare at Life doesn't get much better than this is an IKEA shopper and shares some of her IKEA finds. She also pizza fabric with fabric in them instead of pizza!
Lisa at Pincushion Points is having a 100 posts give-away. To enter you have to tell her what you're favorite sewing item is and why you like it. Here's my favorite:
OK, OK, I suppose you're wondering why I have a photo of me. Well, my favorite sewing tool is my brain. I'm not being egotistical here. I love the skills and gifts God gave me that allow me to play with fabric and needles and thread. If that answer doesn't work I would have to say my favorite tools are my quilting studio and friends who share quilting with me.
One last item before I end this post:
Hooray Celtics! They have kept me up late the last few weeks and it was worth it! With Tiger Woods out for the rest of the golf season all I have to watch is baseball until August 8 when the Patriots play the Ravens in their first pre-season game.

Thanks for adding me to your post. I love all the great ideas for containers. Thanks for the great idea.
Paula,
I had to laugh at your last remark. Just last night, while watching the Celts steamroll the Lakers, I looked at my DH and said,"you know this means we'll have nothing to watch but the Astros (poor things) until August 8 when the Summer Olympics start, don't you?" He moaned a little - OK... a LOT, and asked if we can still catch those reruns of the old NBA playoffs (like when they wore short, tight shorts) on ESPN.
SIGH It wasn't my Spurs but it was a nice Finals! (And I doubt my Spurs could've beat this year's Celts!)
I just wanted to tell you once again, what a fun contest this has been. I have enjoyed visiting to see your new listings and then hopping over to their blogs... I've even notice much more traffic over at my place -and I think it was all from your contest! :)
Thanks and I can't wait to see who the lucky person is and what they win. Love from Texas! ~bonnie
