Oh, how wonderful you finished it!! (Feeling guilty here!). It looks great!! Well done!
Yea, Paula! I am happy dancing with you. (You are happy dancing, right?)
If the machine quilting isn't great, you can't prove it by me. It is a very pretty quilt. I missed my laptop when I went away, so I agree, you need your laptop and your camera. I think if I go away again, my laptop will be my carry on, and I will have to have a check in. I temporarily have internet on my phone (until I get my rebate back then it comes off), and it just isn't the same.
VERY happy to see anne ida's comment. I was afraid I was the last one who hadn't finished. I think I will have to get on that now so I can beat her and at least not be last. ;-D
You have been a busy lady. I really like that quilt. I've been in several retreat swaps and I love the scrappy quilts that come from the experience. Good job!
sweetp, that is really adorable.
(((gulp...)))
Hey - that's super! Mine is, ummm,.... well,....kind of....oh phooey! I'm going to do mine TODAY! LOL!
I haven't completed mine yet either! I do have the blocks together and it is basted in prep to machine quilting. My plan? My sewing room is in the basement and the ugly window is covered with an old bath towel that is pinned up over it. I am going to use it to cover that window!
Looks pretty "nifty", great job. Hope you have a grand time on vacation!
What a wonderful memory! Lovely quilt! Glad you took the time to finish it! Thanks for sharing!
Paula, You certainly must be happy to have your siggy quilt finished and from all over the world - how wonderful! Have a great vacation.
'Bye - Lurline.
Hi Paula, I love the idea of the siggie quilt. When I attended a machine quilting course, the tutor said Practice, Practice, Practice. Well done, enjoy your holiday, wish I could come too. Warmest Regards Lyn
Sadly I am another quilter who hasn't put my blocks together. Seeing yours done reminds me that I should get it out and DO it. I still think that the layout you chose is probably the best, but I might think about it some more. Congratulations!
That turned out sooooo good!!! Now I need to get mine started! hahahaha
dawn
What a lovely memento something to treasure. Have fun on your holiday.
I chose that layout as well, and have done a fair bit, then the fact the points wouldn't all meet put me off and it is sitting with the UFO's. Thanks for motivating me to take another look, Tracey
This is such an amazing piece of quilting blog documentation - wow...look at the list of participants! How fun!
oh very very pretty!!!!
glad you can take us all on your vacation with you! don't forget sunscreen too!
It looks wonderful, congratulations! I still display mine at the shop, and lots of quilters have admired it and they all love the idea of siggie swaps!
Looks great! I ran across those blocks a couple months ago - I'd forgotten all about them! So of course I had to add them to mu UFO list. I really like the way you've set them together - I may just follow your lead.

That looks very sweet. I am doing a siggy swap too, which has to be completed by September. And I haven't started the 90 blocks I have to make yet! Eek!
It's a lovely quilt Sweet P! And not to worry about the quilting. It's the same for all of us *VBS*
It's fun to see name of some that are still in blogland. I'm happy to say that only a few I've known over the nearly 3 years at Pieces have dropped away.
It's a great memory piece. Hugs, Finn
Sign me up for the next exchange! Looks like it was a lot of fun!
What a beautiful quilt and a lovely keepsake of all your blogging friends.
