I'm still working on Mr. E's afghan. I should be able to finish this weekend. I'll post a photo when it's done.
Tuesday was my first day babysitting Mr. E. He arrived early in the morning. When he decided to wake up I put him in his bouncy chair. He gave me this look when I snapped his photo. When I sent the photo to Grampa Boo he asked what was up with Mr. E's "evil" eye? I love this photo of him.
Mr. E has discovered holding eye contact and when he's watching you he is trying to make sounds. I like to think we had a couple of "deep" conversations that afternoon.
Since I work in a fabric and craft store I generally am not an impulse buyer and I seldom buy Christmas themed fabric. But, this morning that changed. The Fat Quarter Shop has this wonderful Christmas fabric in stock and when I read about it on her blog I couldn't resist and ordered half-yard cuts of the fabrics.
I've seen a few Australian designers talk about the Stitchery of the Month Club being offered by Under The Mulberry Tree. I've thought about it for quite a while and this morning I decided I would sign up for it. I'm excited to get projects from 9 Australian designers. I truly think I should live in Australia so I can enjoy the Australian patterns easier!
I hope everyone has had a great week!
Sweet P

What a cutie Mr E is! You're having fun - aren't you? That blanket in the first photo is very pretty - did you make it?

The fabric you ordered looks delightful Paula. I just love the Fat quarter shop.
Looking forward to seeing your stitcheries.
Grandson is just adorable.
Looks like the evil eye was aimed at Grandma for having the camera out. What a cutie! Those Grandbabies are such a joy. Ours are all far away right now, but I do get to babysit a grandpuppy today. Not quite the same!
I'm loving that Christmas fabric! Can't wait to see your Stitchery of the Month projects. Seems I'm in love with all the Australian designs I see. Don't know what it is, but love them!
Mr. E sure is a cutie-pie!
Christmas fabric - how fun! I am envious of your participation in the Stitchery club. It sounds like so much fun. Can't wait to see the patterns you get.
