I went shopping for my family tonight and when I was standing in line waiting to pay for the great gifts I had found I saw this item by the store's window. I wanted it. I need it. I had to have it.
I drove home from the store and kept thinking about it. I walked into the house and pronounced to DH, "Honey, I have Christmas bonus money and I saw this at the store and I'm going back to get it. Oh yeah, will you come with me because I need help carrying it." DH happily obliged and I'm now the super duper happy owner of one of these items.
What is it, you ask. Well I would show you, but the photos at night don't do it justice so you will have to wait until Christmas morning because, like any other Christmas present, you have to wait for Christmas to open it up. Better yet, I'll have a little holiday contest. If you can guess what the item is by Christmas Day, I'll send you a prize. Go ahead and guess! I dare you!

Okay, I'll try--- How about a Red Sox statdium seat.
I think it's a sign from Fenway Park.
Being a huge Red Sox Fan myself....I am with Dot, I think it is a stadium seat.
How about a big warm Red Socks sweatshirt to snuggle in while you watch the games?
It's a HUGE Red Socks wall graphic sign!!! You'll need to buy a room just for the sign, LOL. You are a dedicated Socks fan!!
Well, you had to have help getting it home, hmmmm I'm going to guess it's some type of lamp/light... possibly for hanging over the pool table?
Since he'd photograph equally well, day or night, I am assuming that it's NOT Kurt Schilling :0)
Perhaps a chunk of the "Green Monster"?
Oh, is it a large rug?? Looks very soft in the photo.
a car magnet???LOL
I got the David Ortiz Hallmark ornament this afternoon for ds and thought of you-lol. Merry Christmas to you and your hubby Paula :)
Maybe a hope chest or large wooden box to hold more fabric!
My mind didn't think of sports stuff at all...I would guess a new sewing machine with an embroidery attachment perhaps. Sounds like a perfect present to give oneself to me. Merry Christmas to you!
I recently decided that I love gnomes...they really bring a smile to my face and so I decided to start collecting gnome fabric! So far I have none, but will be working on it soon as I can find some. I should have thought of coffee fabric as sometimes I do see really cute fabric with that theme!
DD thinks it's a 3 ft sign of some kind- why you ask? Cause my sister has one of the Yankees :P
Better buy that Oritz ornament before they sell out. They did here in Yankee country. My dad didn't get one as he couldn't find one- bummer for him DS has his :)
