However th...Oh yes, cactus have beautiful flowers! However that one is a Christmas cactus and isn't the same as a cactus that grows in the desert. It can go for quite awhile without water, but needs much more water than desert cactus do. This one is more of a tropical cactus and I'm told grows on trees. I do know in order to get repeat bloomings you should stop watering it about the beginning of September, let it get really dry and somewhat wilty looking, and then start watering it again in mid October.
